Just a quick note

Nothing to show tonight, but there will be tomorrow,have been under the weather for a few days and any get up and go, and got up and gone and left me totally shattered and literally unable to do anything. Have made a couple of ATC's tonight and a third one is on the table to be completed tomorrow as my head has had enough of it tonight.

Only a quick post today as off to work tonight so have to go and get ready in a minute.



Made the 3 ATC's for the alpahabet swap I'm in today and I will show you my W as I think she is so cute. Never got time to do the 3 atc's for the challenge books but they are on my list of things to do on thursday and will be back in the post before the weekend. Thats all from me today, but will be blog hopping at work, but unfortunately can't leave comments on blogs as work access doesn't allow this.

Have only got the one new ATC to show today, still not too well but at least I am getting some things done.

This has been made with the Magnolia stamp which I was lucky to win over on the Tilda and Friends ATC challenge blog.

Have made some faces today using air drying clay, so hopefully they can be painted tomorrow and made into some masterpieces (stop laughing).

Also received 3 atc challenge books in the post this morning for the swap on Crafts 4 u forum, so off to make a vintage, an oriental and butterfly ATC's now and hoefully get the books posted onto the next person on the list tomorrow

No craft (again)

Been at work for two days so no craft objects to show today, but I have just coloured in my new Tilda, so tomorrow she will be made into an ATC. Know what I'm going to do, but just too tired to do it tonight.

Well the Radley bag card went down very well with the person that wanted it, so am very happy with that news.

Only a card today

Still not well, and so much to do and no energy to do it.
Have managed a card today, not sure of it though. Remit was for a 70 year old who has just bought a Radley bag, and this was all I could think of



Hope that it is ok anyway. If not still got time to do another one.( sorry about the crooked scan)

Received my Dala Tilda stamp today from Leann, along with a mixed bag of brown and pink ribbons and her in the pink atc which is on the Tilda and friends ATC Challenge blog. Boy am I a happy bunny, just want to go and play now

Another Tilda Day

So here we are again, Still not feeling too good, but have managed to make my ATC for the Tilda and Friends ATC challenge which this week is Checks, any sort of checks or Tartan.



Mine is Baking Tilda wearing a checked dress on a checked background with a bit of checked ribbon, think I have fulfilled the checks on this one.

Might go and have another play in the craft room later, but now its time for a rest, feel totally drained and worn out

Nothing to show

Nothing to show today, was out all day yesterday and today I seem to have developed a terrible cold, maybe even a chest infection, and have had no inclination to go into the craft room at all.

Hopefully tomorrow I will get down to some craftiness, but will have to wait and see what i feel like in the morning

Another Tilda and Friend ATC

Well today I made another ATC for the Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge.
This time I went for Edwin Fishing, quite pleased with the way it has come out, but the scan shows the background a lot lighter than it really is.
Here is the man himself.

Went to a small craft show today, but was fairly disappointed with it, not as many stalls as there normally are, but it did clash with the show at Olympia so perhaps that is why.

Of course I couldn't leave empty handed, that would have been so rude of me, so I treated myself to a cuttlebug alphabet and an embossing folder of the main man himself (mickey mouse).

Also treated myself to some K and Co papers which were on special offer and know exactly what I want to make with them.

Managed to swap a couple of ATC's whilst I was there as well.

ATC day

Today I've been trying to do some ATC's, hopefully to swap some at a craft show I'm going to on Sunday, you never know who is going to be there. Managed to do a few swaps at the show last year by chance, so it pays to go prepared.

Seem to be in the collage mood today and these are a couple of the ones that I've done

Going to head off into the craft room to try and get some more done as this is my last chance before Sunday to do any.

Tilda and friends day

Today is the day I've been waiting for, the new challenge on Tilda and friends ATC challenges.

I just love making these, today theme is blue and yellow depicting the colours of the Swedish flag. Here is my offering for the Challenge. Using the same Tilda as last weeks challenge, but I don't own many (yet) so limited on my choice. Might even make another blue and yellow one later.

Happy easter

Well today, I have managed to make 5 ATC's that should have been made last week.

Managed to make my June ATC's for a months of the year swap I'm taking part in, and Pretty in Pink ATC's for a swap on another forum.

As I never managed to make the ATC for the Tilda and friends in the pink challenge, I decided to make a tilda one for this swap.

Did manage to make this weeks challenge though "Chocolate", what a subject seeing as I'm allergic to the stuff. Here she is, Hubby had to eat a Creme egg so that I could use the wrapper, such a hard life.

This is one of my Pretty in Pink ATC's. I do love these Magnolia stamps, will have to buy more.

Thats all for today, have to go and get ready for work soon, working nights tonight and tomorrow, so no craft till Tuesday now.

Wednesday 19th March 08

Here we are again, managed to get the cards done that I had to do, and managed to get 2 ATC's done for the challenge book swap, thats 3 down and 3 to go, but have to wait for the books to get to me before I can do the ATC's.

These are the 2 that i managed to make today. The first one is for a black and white challenge book and the second one is for a book of gloom challenge book, and seeing as rain makes me gloomy, i went for this PP image and a stamped background about the weather.

Back to work for me tomorrow, but I might try and find some time to do the 7 more ATC's that need to be done before the end of the month and of course the tilda and friends atc challenge. Must do this weeks one, never manged to find time for last weeks challenge

Monday 17th March 08

No items to show today, but have made an ATC for the challenge book that I am taking part in, over on the crafts 4 u forum. Theme of Vintage was todays one which I don't mind doing at all.

Tomorrow its finish off 2 more mens cards which i don't like doing, but couldn't finish them on saturday as my computer ran out of ink and being so organised I didn't have any spare ones in.

Also going to do my pretty in pink atc for the Tilda and Friends atc challenge, really want to do it but can't get going today.

Saturday 15th March 08

Bad, Bad Blogger, so much for all my good intentions.

Well managed to make 3 cards out of the 6 that are needed, so as soon as I have posted this,I'll be away to my little room to try and do some more.

Also want to make my ATC for the Tilda and Friends ATC Challange, will get round to it, but the cards are commisioned, so they have to be done first.

As you can see, Tilda managed to creep into yet another card, I love these stamps, just hope that Lindsey likes it as well.

Boy, how I hate doing Men's cards, I never know what to put on them, at least with girls cards ribbons and flowers are always ok.

So here are the 2 mens cards that I've done today, Both for the same person so had to make them very different, was only given golf and lager as topics to use

Tuesday 11th Mar 08

Well a few days have gone by without me blogging, but I've got round to it tonight.

Finally finished the Doctor Who card and made a card for a friends dad's birthday.

Also made an ATC book for a swap I'm involved in over on the crafts 4 u forum, make a book to your theme, with 6 pages and send it on to the next person on the list. The idea being that the book comes back to you complete with 6 ATC's to your theme, lets see if this happens, no reason it shouldn't unless the postie takes a liking to them which isn't unheard of

Here is the Doctor card, was made for a girl so had to sort of make it a bit feminine, hope that it has worked.

This is the card for the 70th birthday (pretty obvivious really seeing as whats on the card). All I had was the picture to use. Am quite pleased with the way this has come out, took ages to do the diary page as I'm no expert on word and couldn't get rid of the outline on the text box, but hey got it sussed in the end.

Thursday 6th March 08

No cards or ATC's to show tonight, have made one card and almost finished a 2nd one.
Had to make a Dr Who themed card and have really struggled with it, that is the one that is almost finished, the completed one is the same as the one I made a couple of days ago.

Have been stamping my Tildas and practising my colouring techniques, really do like the polychromo pencils though, love the way the coloured images look shaded without a lot of effort.

Tomorrow will see the Dr Who card completed along with 3 ATC's for an alphabet swap (almost at the end of the alphabet)

Wednesday 5th March 08

No crafting done so far today, been far too busy with real work, but may just go and do a couple of ATC's for swaps that are due this month. Counted up today how many cards and ATC's I had to do for this month and frightened myself, will have to kick start my mojo and get crafting.

Still searching for the magnolia stamps that I want next, just waiting for the shops to get them in stock, will have to be quick to get the ones I want though.

Thats about it for tonight, hopefully will have some creations to show tomorrow

Monday 3rd March 08

Oh well, last day off and back to work tomorrow, really have no idea what happens to my 3 days off, they just seem to disappear.

Headed off the the scrapbook shop this morning just for a look, as you do, but happened across some stampendous flourish stamps. I sort of had to have them, no time to play with them today but hopefully will be able to play later in the week.

Did manage to make one of the 2 cards that I had to do, but found out that they aren't needed till the end of the month, so still ok for time. Just find crafting hard when suffering a cold, and that dreaded runny nose.

Here's the card I made today, as per usual the scan doesn't do it justice, the colours are a lot brighter in real life than they are on here.

Next task is to make an ATC book, with spaces for 6 ATC's for a swap that I'm taking part in. Have to admit to forgetting about it, until someone has just reminded me politely. Don't think I will attempt this tonight though, early night for me, got to get up at 4.

Think that is my ramblings for today, none tomorrow because of work, but should be back on Wednesday. Surprising myself so far that I've managed to post most days.

Sunday 2nd March 08

Happy Mothers Day, no card but I did get a phone call wishing me a happy mothers day. I cheated this year and bought my mum a card. I want to know how people have time to make cards, work and read blogs, I seem to be spending more time reading peoples blogs than doing anything else these days.

Today has not been successful in the crafting area. Stamped 2 images and coloured them in, now just have to assemble the cards, that is first on my list of things to do tomorrow, have to go through my paper stash and find some papers that match, but then again, i could just go and buy some more. Wonder what would be easier.

Hopefully the results will be shown tomorrow.



This is the Sparkly Tilda that I have made today, to go with the challenge on the Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge blog, unfortunately the sparkly bits don't show up too well on the scan, The wings are glitter coated, there are sparkly bits on the cakes and glitter card down the side. I used Embossing tinsel in the corner but the tinsel part isn't showing very well

Saturday 1st March 08

So off I went to the art shop this morning and brought some new coloured pencils, keep reading about prismas, but I'm too impatient, so I got some Faber - Castell polychromos and have to admit I am quite impressed with the way they colour ( i know that is what they are designed to do)

Had to do a tilda today as the 3 stamps I got yesterday were shouting at me to let them out of the bag and here she is. I have to admit I am very pleased with the way she has turned out.

I had to make an ATC for a RAK attack that I take part in each month, so decided to make her into an ATC. Next step is to make a card ( but that needs my brain to go into thinking mode) so maybe I will try one later.
