What a long break

Well after a really long break from blogging my cards, I have come back. I have been making cards but very few through the summer as my craft room is just too warm to work in and only made cards to order, but now the cooler weather is back, I'm back as well.

I was asked to make a Goth type card for a 21 year old, and have used this Sugar Nellie, manga girl 2 for this card and the sketch this week on The Sugar Bowl blog . Haven't played along with this blog for a long time, so logged on today and there was this great sketch. I have used co ordination card along with basic grey card for this creation, and some prima flowers and black lace. The age has been cut using my cuttlebug from gold mirri card.

The latest challenge on The Sugar Bowl is a great sketch by Marlene, and the creation is to include buttons, so this is my take on the challenge. I have used the sugar nellies stamp Picking apples and coloured her using polychromos and sansodor. The papers are all K & CO. I have added some lace and of course the buttons, which are pink and green although the green doesn't show very well in the picture. The flowers are prima essesntials and have added a flower button as the centre.

Well I don't know where I have been for the past few weeks, but whilst doing a spot of blog hopping last night I found the sugar bowl blog, which is a challenge blog for Sugar Nellie stamps, so seeing that I love my Sugar Nellies I decided that I had to play along, but what a week to pick. The theme this week is MEN. Great, my favourite type of card to make.....not!!!!.

I have used sugar nellie SK8R boy stamp which I have coloured with polychromos and sansodor, the papers are all basic grey from the archaic pad, which I had bought with the intention of making mens/boys cards. I have added a gold star and a sentiment from craftwork cards which has been chalked to tone down the bright whiteness.
