crafting when we can and Friday Sketch Challenge

This week on Crafting when we can it is Borrow a sketch fortnight, We would like to see cards made with sketches from challenge blogs and please link to whichever challenge blog you have used.

This fortnight we are sponsored by the fantastic Tiddly inks and we were allowed to choose which image we wanted to use so I went for Santas Helper, and I have used the sketch on this weeks Friday Sketch Challenge blog.

The papers used on my card are from a Trimcraft 12 x 12 pad which I have had for ages, the words are on a Sizzix die. The image has been coloured used promarkers.

Snoozing

Today I have made a card using one of my new stamps. Last week for my Birthday my lovely mum got me 4 new Lili of the valley stamps and this is one of them. I just love it.
I have coloured the image using promarkers, and then layered the image onto red card, cut using my new fleur de lis nestie. The papers are all from Hot of the Press which was a free pad with a magazine and the ribbon is from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into

Crafting when we can

Well another fortnight has just flown by and its time for a new challenge on Crafting when we can and the theme this time is female birthday.

We are sponsored for this challange by Stretch N' Bubbles and they have very kindly given us images to use, I have used Marcy. I have coloured the image using promarkers. The BP is Tim Holtz, The card that I have layered the image onto was from a pad of papers that came free with a magazine. I have added some lace and flowers, used a punch to cut the leaves and the sentiment is from craftwork cards and its from a set that I was very lucky to be given.

And another Christmas card

Yesterday whilst out shopping, I sort of accidently on purpose went to Hythe, where there is a real craft shop (something that is in very short supply where I live) and I saw this stamp and fell in love with it. It is a Joanna Sheen Giordano stamp called our family, it also comes with a sentiment but I haven't used it on this card.

I made this card with the sketch on Friday Sketch Challenge blog and I love it. I just used nesties to cut the squares and then embossed them in the sledding embossing folder and snowflake folder. The image has been coloured with promarkers and then I added 2 holly sprigs which I have had for years and never used.

Sweet Snowman

Today I finally got round to making a card to go with the sketch on this weeks Penny Black Saturday Challenge, it is such a great sketch I just had to play along (Thank you Nat).

I have used Penny Black sweet snowman stamp and coloured it with my promarkers. Used Nesties to cut the image out. The papers are all Hot off the Press and came free with a Magazine but I can't remember which one it was. I strategically placed the ribbon so that it was the sentiment as well, and then punched some small snowflakes from glitter card and used a cuttlebug die to cut the large snowflake.

Rory

Well, today I have used an old stamp called Rory by Sugar Nellie and I chose to use this stamp so that I could play along again with an Oldie but a Goodie challenge blog, I know I have plenty of old stamps but wanted to use an animal to go with cards for men challenge as well.
I have coloured the image using promarkers, the brown card is from my stash and the BP is Tim Holtz which I have also had for some time. I added 3 buttons and a string bow and an Adage ticket to finish.

I would like to enter this card into these challenges

Oldie but a Goodie - use buttons and bows as well as old stamp and stash.
