Rocket Man

So the new theme over on The Buddly challenge site is Flight. So here is my rocket man, had a choice of 2 that I was going to make, and decided on this one, but don't be surprised if the other one appears on here soon.

I just love these cuddly buddly downloads and use them a lot, so pleased that this challenge site has appeared so that I make ATC's with them as well now

a wedding card

So I was asked to make a wedding card in brown and cream and to have the couples names and date of the wedding on the front. This is what I came up with.
As usual the card hasn't scanned straight but I think that is due to the heart pearls down the left hand side, the card would not sit flat in the scanner.
Hope that the lady who requested it is happy with it

On the Rocks

The challenge this week in Tilda and Friends ATC challenge is Beside the sea, and here is my interpretation of it. Edwin sitting on rocks at the Seaside.

The scan has come out very faint, I really must take photos of my ATC's in daylight and hopefully the real colours will come out.

A boxers card

Was asked to make a fathers day card for someone whose dad has just gone back to coachig boxing. This had me stumped for a while until I found the Dottie and George downloads, and there was this boxer just looking at me. So far I have made 2 cards from this set of downloads and can see it being a very useful set.

Birds of a feather

This weeks theme on Tilda and friends ATC challenge blog is birds of a feather, using either a bird image or if you don't have any of those, a feather. The only bird images I have are from Tilda holding a bird, so I used just the bird from that stamp. Sill waiting for my background stamp to arrive, so I have drawn this one myself.
Already waiting for next wednesday now

And a thank you to Steph (southern fairy) for awarding me this now I just have to pass onto 3 others, so I award this to
Dawne
Kathleen

One for the Lads

Here is an ATC that I have been meaning to do for a few days now. It is for the new challenge blog Bring on the Buddly challenge. This months theme is one for the lads and here is my ATC for the lads. The idea of this challenge blog is to use your cuddly buddly images or stamps, and seeing that I have just a few of these images, I thought it would be a shame not to play along.

18th Cards

This is one of the cards that I made yesterday, but won't show both as they are the same apart from the name. Have made this card before and was asked to do 2 more, so I obliged.
Image and backing paper is from Joanna Sheens dancing with shadows CD and just added a feather and a little bow.

Now off to do a couple of ATC's before I have to get ready for work tonight.

Tilda again

So here is my ATC for the Tilda and friends atc challenge blog this week, and the theme is glorious green. So Tilda for me this week is dressed in green. Really love this challenge blog, and always try to find the time to take part.

Off to make some cards now.

Wednesday 14 May 2008

been a bad blogger again, but the weather has been so nice that I haven't been doing much crafting. Made two 18th birthday cards today. One for an Audrey Hepburn fan and the other for a rugby fan. On the Audrey card I used an image from Joanna Sheen's hollywood vintage CD, some ribbon, some doodlbug flowers and paper from Dovecraft's hint of pick pack.
The rugby card is made with an image from Dottie and George, which I have coloured with pencils and Sansodor.
The scan doesn't really show the colours very well, he is in fact wearing pale blue shorts and the skin tone doesn't show at all in this picture.
Might just go and attempt this weeks Tilda and Friends ATC challenge now.

It wouldn't let me in yesterday

Well I tried to upload this picture last night, but blogger didn't want to play, so waited till this orning to try again. Here is Tilda bug sweeping for this weeks Tilda and Friends ATC challenge.
The challenge this week was Bugs, Just show us your bugs it said, so here are my bugs. Glad that real ladybirds aren't that big in real life. Its the first time that I've used this stamp and can see me using her again very soon, I think she is really cute.

Got the card done

got the card finished today, its for an Arsenal fan and loves anything to do with football, hope that this fits the bill ok.
Used Edwin this time, can't help but love these stamps, they are great for kids and adults alike.

Have also made ATC today for a regular monthly swap, so have now made my 3 and they can go off in the post tomorrow.

Now off to try and think of what I can do for my last two alphabet ATC swaps, y and z, sure that I will think of something before the due date, usually manage to anyway.

If i manage to create anything else today, i will be back to show and tell

Not a lot of crafting going on

As the title goes, I haven't done much crafting. The weather has been so nice, that I have spent most of the day out in the garden, reading. Have made this ATC for a monthly swap, and have stamped some images for a card I intend to make tomorrow. Have actually started the card but won't get it finished tonight.
Might treat myself to some more polychromo pencils tomorrow, that is if I remember to take the list of pencils that I have already to the shop with me, wouldn't want to buy the same colours that I already have.
Will be more to show tomorrow.

Just a couple today

Just a couple of ATC's made today, the one on the left is a RAK and the one on the right is obviviously Paris Tilda, just made for the fun of making it.
Back at work tonight for 2 nights so no crafting yet again, and then when I get home on Sunday I have a few cards to make. Could start one now, but hate having to leave them half finished.
Might have a play with alcohol inks next week and some mini dominoes that I have managed to get my hands on, have seem some brilliant results whilst blog hopping so thought about time that I tried.
Think its about time that I tried to be a bit more creative, but then I have thought that before and yet still stick to cards and ATC's. One day maybe!!!!

Guess what

It was Tilda and Friends ATC challenge day yesterday, but being soooo tired after 4 days at work, I never managed to make one last night, but have done one today. This weeks challenge was May Celebrations, and seeing as I don't possess a maypole, I went for things that remind me of Spring and May. The dress Tilda is wearing is brighter in real life, the scan never does the colours real justice. Added a few buttons and Hey presto, my ATC. There are some beautiful examples on their blog from the design team so pop on over there and have a look.
