Months of the Year

Thought I would show an ATC that I've made for a months of the year swap on the Crafts 4 u forum. Have got round to september now and struggled to think of what to make, but then remembered that the kids always go back to school in sept, so used that as my theme

Thinking of you

This weeks challenge over on the Tilda and Co challenge blog was a sketch, and this is my version of the sketch, have just stuck to the sketch as it is. Have used Paris tilda and patterned paper, some scalloped card for the edging and a flower with a stampin up sentiment as the centre of the flower

Edwin Star

Todays offering is just a picture that I have made using all magnolia stamps. The idea came from the ATC I made yesterday. Have used Edwin in his star jumper (hence the title), his dog, the wooden bench and the background again which has yet again been chalked.

Back at last

Well after a week away, I am now back and have started the crafting with this weeks challenge over on Tilda and friends ATC blog. This weeks theme is "Summer in Bloom" and they want ATC's with summer flowers on them. This week I have used Tilda holding lilacs, a cut down and shortened wooden bench and the summer background stamp, all from Magnolia. The background has been chalked and Tilda coloured using polychromos and sansador.

Communion Card

This is a Card I was asked to make for a Holy Communion, have used clipart for the image and did my own computer generated image.

I will away now until the 23rd of June, see you all soon

Dream

This is another ATC made using Stampin up stamp. I have coloured it yet again using distress inks and Chalks. I really must get some more distress inks so that I can change colour occasionally.

Indian Alcohol

Here is another Alcohol Ink creation, this time I added the gold mixative to try and give it an opulent look which I associate with Indian colours. Not sure if it looks ok, but thought I would show it anyway

Unity

Here is the ATC that i have made for this weeks SBS 18 challenge blog. The theme this week is couples, and again I have used a Stampin up stamp and a sentiment from a sheet of clear stamps that I don't know the make off. Have again coloured the image with distress inks and added chalk this time as well.

Distress inks

Been playing with distress inks and using them for colouring. Have seen examples on other peoples blogs, so thought it was about time that I tried to do it. Used a stampin up stamp and sentiment, and just coloured away. The scan as usual is very pale. Think I will be trying this again soon

Tilda and Friends day

Well this weeks challenge over on Tilda and Friends ATC blog is to make an ATC using some of those Bits and Pieces that are lying around on the craft desk. I had pieces of this star paper on my desk, so decided to use this along with some other scraps and Sitting Edwin who just happens to have a star on his jumper. Completed the look with a couple of star brads and some Ric Rac that Edwin is sitting on

More Alcohol

And no I don't mean the drink sort of Alcohol, I mean the inks. This is yet another one of my alcohol inks ATC's. Got myself another 2 metallic mixatives to add to my slowly growing collection of inks, so hopefully will be able to come up with a few different colour combination backgrounds. Well thats my showing for today.
Tomorrow is Tilda and Friends ATC day, so hope to get one done tomorrow, before heading off on night shift

Tilda again

I started with an image that I had coloured a few days ago, and when sorting through my box of scraps I found this backing paper and thought, Tilda would look quite nice on that, so added Tilda, a flower and brad and of course the dymo tape in lilac, so that it all matches.

Alcohol again

No not real alcohol, but alcohol inks, used 2 colours again, and a stamp not sure what make it is though, and then added a starfish charm for good measure. Really like these inks and aim to perfect my use of them.

Edwin

This weeks challenge over on the Tilda and Friends ATC challenge blog is Give me sunshine. (Wish someone would give me sunshine). Wasn't sure which stamp to use this week, so I plumped for Graffiti Edwin and turned hime into Cute Sunshine boy, well I think he looks cute.

Alcohol inks

Well today I played with alcohol inks for the first time. I only used 2 colours on this one and a silver mixative. I am happy with the way it has turned out, surprise surprise. The flower was just sitting on my desk and it match perfectly as far as I was concerned. The stamp is from Stampin up, a set of 6 round sentiments. The main image is a Tim Holtz stamp which I bought recently.

Will definitely be playing with the inks again.

Still haven't got round to this weeks Tilda and Friends challenge yet, but I will.

And another one

This ATC was made using 2 of my newly acquired stamps direct from Magnolia (couldn't find any stores here that had them). I think she is absolutely gorgeous but looks like she could cause some right old mischief (am I talking about Tilda or my granddaughter). Now going to play with this weeks Tilda and Friends ATC challenge, that will be posted tomorrow though

Tuesday 3 June 2008

Another Tilda

Yet another Tilda today, this time it's Miss Rock n Roll, I think this image of Tilda looks like she is from the 50's so thought a record and sheet music was appropriate for her. Made because at the moment I can't stop singing all summer long by Kid Rock and this reminds me of the song

Pink Petticoat

So today I used the good old pink petticoat image to make this card for a littl girl. Was kida stuck on this card, had no idea what she likes, so decided to go for the hippo, She is such a cute hippo that a 3 year old could not fail to like her. Decided to go down the pink line as all 3 year old love pink (don't they?)

Sunday 1 June 2008

Today I have entered the SBS 18 challenge for the first time. A theme is posted on Wednesdays and you can make anything that you want to as long as it is appropriate to that weeks challenge. This week the theme is FLYING, and here is my trainee pilot ATC. Have used a cuddly buddly downloaded image and a magnolia summer background stamp. Completed of course the Dymo tape, which at the moment seems to be a favourite of mine. This also meets the theme on the buddly challenge site, so 2 for the price of 1 today.
