Thought I would show an ATC that I've made for a months of the year swap on the Crafts 4 u forum. Have got round to september now and struggled to think of what to make, but then remembered that the kids always go back to school in sept, so used that as my theme

Back at last
Well after a week away, I am now back and have started the crafting with this weeks challenge over on Tilda and friends ATC blog. This weeks theme is "Summer in Bloom" and they want ATC's with summer flowers on them. This week I have used Tilda holding lilacs, a cut down and shortened wooden bench and the summer background stamp, all from Magnolia. The background has been chalked and Tilda coloured using polychromos and sansador.

Unity
Here is the ATC that i have made for this weeks SBS 18 challenge blog. The theme this week is couples, and again I have used a Stampin up stamp and a sentiment from a sheet of clear stamps that I don't know the make off. Have again coloured the image with distress inks and added chalk this time as well.

Tilda and Friends day
Well this weeks challenge over on Tilda and Friends ATC blog is to make an ATC using some of those Bits and Pieces that are lying around on the craft desk. I had pieces of this star paper on my desk, so decided to use this along with some other scraps and Sitting Edwin who just happens to have a star on his jumper. Completed the look with a couple of star brads and some Ric Rac that Edwin is sitting on

More Alcohol
And no I don't mean the drink sort of Alcohol, I mean the inks. This is yet another one of my alcohol inks ATC's. Got myself another 2 metallic mixatives to add to my slowly growing collection of inks, so hopefully will be able to come up with a few different colour combination backgrounds. Well thats my showing for today.
Tomorrow is Tilda and Friends ATC day, so hope to get one done tomorrow, before heading off on night shift

Alcohol inks
Well today I played with alcohol inks for the first time. I only used 2 colours on this one and a silver mixative. I am happy with the way it has turned out, surprise surprise. The flower was just sitting on my desk and it match perfectly as far as I was concerned. The stamp is from Stampin up, a set of 6 round sentiments. The main image is a Tim Holtz stamp which I bought recently.
Will definitely be playing with the inks again.
Still haven't got round to this weeks Tilda and Friends challenge yet, but I will.

And another one
This ATC was made using 2 of my newly acquired stamps direct from Magnolia (couldn't find any stores here that had them). I think she is absolutely gorgeous but looks like she could cause some right old mischief (am I talking about Tilda or my granddaughter). Now going to play with this weeks Tilda and Friends ATC challenge, that will be posted tomorrow though

Pink Petticoat
So today I used the good old pink petticoat image to make this card for a littl girl. Was kida stuck on this card, had no idea what she likes, so decided to go for the hippo, She is such a cute hippo that a 3 year old could not fail to like her. Decided to go down the pink line as all 3 year old love pink (don't they?)

Today I have entered the SBS 18 challenge for the first time. A theme is posted on Wednesdays and you can make anything that you want to as long as it is appropriate to that weeks challenge. This week the theme is FLYING, and here is my trainee pilot ATC. Have used a cuddly buddly downloaded image and a magnolia summer background stamp. Completed of course the Dymo tape, which at the moment seems to be a favourite of mine. This also meets the theme on the buddly challenge site, so 2 for the price of 1 today.
