Let it snow

This week its another great sketch on the Tilda and co challenge blog. I have made my first christmas card to go with this sketch. I have used Chilly Tilda coloured with polychromos and sansodor, the BP is from a pad that I have had since last year, used my nesties to cut the square and circle then embossed the circle with the cuttlebug snowflake folder. Just added some punched snowflakes down the side

Tilda and co

This week on Tilda and Co challenge blog its a great sketch to follow. I have used Wild asparagus backing paper, with a magnolia background cut into an oval using my nesties, and tilda in her flower jeans layered onto the background. Added green lace and some prima flowers and finally a craftwork card sentiment which has been chalked. Posted this so early as I'm off to work shortly

Chocolate !!!!!

Well what a challenge we have been set this week by the team at Tilda and Co challenge blog.

Challenged to make a card with chocolate as the theme and to use brown, pink and white. I had used this tilda with her basket, which is conviently empty, more paper from my stash which just happened to be the right colours. Added the sentiment which was done on the PC, the flowers, ribbons and charm from my stash as well. Only thing I didn't have was the chocolates to put on the card

Tilda and Co

Yesterday the challenge over on Tilda and Co challenge blog was to Emboss, this could be dry embossing, heat embossing etc. I chose to use the cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder(because its my favourite at the moment), and embossed the circle and rectangle. The rectangle has been edged with tattered rose distress ink which was then rubbed over the dots. Have used Tilda with the pie and coloured in my ususal manner. The paper is more from my stash, added ribbon and flowers and used a stamp from the ticketed set from Autumn Leaves

Cold as Ice

The challenge set yesterday on Tilda and Co challenge blog is Cold as ice.

The sun is now drifting away very fast and soon it will be as cold as ice....
Using the colours Blue & white Only . Show us how cold your projects can feel this week.

So technically speaking it is still summer, so I have a summer tilda all dressed in her pretty blue dress , sitting on a frame embossed using the cuttlebug. All mounted onto blue paper, with the name added in Blue and the age, finally added the flower with the white button centre and the hanging round tag with happy birthday on it.

Tilda on holiday

This weeks on Tilda and Co blog is a sketch, I have to say I didn't find it too easy for some reason, anyway I have tilda paddling beneath the palm tree on her holidays. Used yet more paper from my never decreasing pile of papers and some rub on's to complete.

Bugs

This weeks challenge on Tilda and Co is Bugs. The idea being to incorporate bugs into your handiwork, and of course to use a magnolia stamp. I don't own any magnolia bug stamps, so used some bugs from another set of stamps (see D ones). Used the ants and the bees. Then finished the card off with the large flower (again) and a stampin up sentiment

Distressed Tilda

The challenge on the Tilda and Co blog this week is Distressed Tilda, Make her Distressed looking, a little rough around the edges, a bit of grungy!
So stay clear of these cute pastel colours if you can help it and get down and dirty with tilda!

I didn't really distress Tilda but have done the background. Not sure if its what is needed, but I don't really do distressed, but aim to practise after seeing all the examples on blogs

Tilda Clock

This weeks challenge on Tilda and Co is Thinking of others, and the challenge was

"Now this could be an altered gift, a Card Set, ( not just a card on its own) It could be a Mini Book, it could be anything! As long as it is a gift for somebody, as we all send out little raks to crafting friends or gifts to them, and then there's our family's – so i thought it would be nice that this week, we are “ thinking of others” and what we can make for them to put a smile on there face."

So I decided to make a clock which I will give to somebody, not sure who just yet though.
I have tilda in her petticoat and used Quickutz numbers for the clock face, and yes the clock does work lol
