Limited supplies

Today I am working with very limited supplies, but I did have this image which fits in very nicely with today Cute Card Thursday challenge which is in the water. This is the second time within a month that this image has been used. I do not have much in the way of craft materials with me, so todays card is very basic.

Sarah Kay weekly challenge

This week on Sarah Kay wekkly challenge blog, there is an absolutely brilliant sketch to follow, the sketch can be rotated, resized but the elements are to stay as per the sketch. This is my version of the sketch. Have used sarah kay image coloured with polychromos and sansador again, edged the image with spiced marmalade distress ink, mounted this onto some scrap yellow card, the orange and lilac paper is also from the scrap box, the patterned paper is basic grey. Used a sizzix bookplate die and added a rub on.

Spring n Winter

These are my Spring and Winter ATC's for the Tilda and Friends ATC challenge of the 4 seasons which has been running this month on the Tilda and Friends ATC challenge blog.
In the spring one Tilda is just sitting on a ribbon and the grass and sky has been chalked and in the Winter one the background has been embossed using the snowflakes embossing folder on the cuttlebug, and both have rub ons added

Well I have managed that, all the ribbons are a brown and pink combination, to go with the brown and pink coloured sugar nellie image. The image has been coloured with polychromos and sansador again, have added a die cut from Go Kreate down the side along with 3 flowers with buttons as the centre and a craftwork card sentiment.

Friday Sketchers

So here is my version of this week sketch over on Friday Sketchers blog. This week the sketch was by Carole in England and what a great sketch it is, but have to say didn't find it too easy, need to user a smaller image or a larger card, one or the other.

I have used more paper from that stash but I do know that the paper with the turquoise on is from Basic Grey. Have used a aweet ebony image coloured with polychromos and sansador again, used old paper ink around the edge of the image to take the whiteness away. Have matted and layered all of these onto the card and just added some prima flowers with brads and the corner stamp. The sentiment is from stampin up

Brighten your day

Over on Cute card thursday challenge blog this week, we are challenged to make a card using
BRIGHT COLOURS. This is my take on bright colours, colours that I normally steer well clear of, not in my comfort zone at all. Have used more paper from that slowly decreasing stash and this was the brightest I could find, Stamped the sarah kay image and coloured in bright polychromos and sansador, cut and layered with the nestabilities. Added 2 bright flowers and a brad, and then stamped the ticket and put a hand written sentiment on the ticket. Also used the cuttlebug for the small piece of card which has been embossed with Swiss dots.

Forever friend

This week there is a sketch on A Spoon full of Sugar by Debbie, and what a great sketch it is.
This is my interpretation of the sketch, and as of this week any make of stamp can be used for the challenges.
I have used a sarah kay stamp, coloured with polychromos and sansador. This has all been mounted onto a selection of paper from my stash. Have used a piece of lace across the centre of the card, and have used one of my new ticketed stamps from Autumn leaves as the sentiment

A charm or two

This week on the Sarah Kay weekly challenge blog, the challenge is How Charming.
They would like our work to include, charms, pendants or dangles, and of course a sarah kay image.

I have stamped and coloured by sarah kay with polychromos and sansador, mounted onto some BG paper, then mounted this onto some more paper from my stash. Have added a strip of lace down the side, then 3 flowers with 2 charms hanging from the flower. There is a pearl brad in the centre of the flower. Sorry about the slightly blurred image, but as it isn't completely flat the scanner doesn't seem to like it too much

Cold as Ice

The challenge set yesterday on Tilda and Co challenge blog is Cold as ice.

The sun is now drifting away very fast and soon it will be as cold as ice....
Using the colours Blue & white Only . Show us how cold your projects can feel this week.

So technically speaking it is still summer, so I have a summer tilda all dressed in her pretty blue dress , sitting on a frame embossed using the cuttlebug. All mounted onto blue paper, with the name added in Blue and the age, finally added the flower with the white button centre and the hanging round tag with happy birthday on it.

PB Ribbons

This week the challenge on Penny Black Saturday challenge is ribbons. They want to see ribbons on our projects, so I have used a pale pink ribbon across the bottom of the image and a very narrower ribbon threaded through the flower button. I have used a colour that I don't normally use, but the paper is from my stash which I think was from a scrapbook kit on QVC, have matted the image onto orange card, also from the same kit, added an orange and white flower, and the sentiment done on orange dymo tape.

Little Devil

Today on Friday Sketchers there is a lovely sketch from Mumur in France. I have used a devil stamp from Dewdropcraftz, some card put through the cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, then sanded the dots, all mounted onto red card and then layered onto some more paper from my paper stash, and the stampin up hugs and kisses sentiment and then finished with black lace along the top

Skater Boy

Over on the papertake weekly challenge blog, we have been challenged to use buttons this week, so here is my card with buttons. I have used the Sugar Nellie skater, which has been cut and mounted onto some fabric, in turn mounted onto more of my paper stash (not sure whose paper this is). Have cut the words skater boy with a sizzix alphabet on my cuttlebug, and finally stamped the happy birthday, and added of course a couple of buttons.

Just because

Well the challenge on Cute card Thursday this week is Soft furnishings, you can use fabric, ribbons, stitching, buttons etc, in fact anything that you can find on the soft furnishings in the home. So I have used Leather and wool thread. Hamish and his tractor have been coloured using polychromos and sansador and cut out then mounted onto Leather, then mounted onto crate paper. The background is also crate paper. Have edged the whole card with the wool thread. Not sure if I am entirely happy with this card though

A secret Message

This week on A spoon full of Sugar challenge blog, we have been challenged to make a card with a secret message , they wanted us to hide a message, so I have hidden my message under the main image, which is attached to the card using a brad and a picture anchor. I love this sarah kay image. Have used more of the paper stash which might be getting smaller by now, some prima flowers with gems in the centre and a corner stamp. The sentiment is from a sarabook on love and family.

Stamping with Sarah Kay

Todays challenge on Stamp with Sarah Kay is a sketch. This is my version of the sketch. Using more of my paper stash as you can see, (paper has been seen before), used my nestabilities again to cut the image out and layer it. Have added ribbon and lace, with some flowers and gems and a rub on sentiment to complete

Support

The Challenge on Penny Black Saturday challenge blog this week is a sketch, and this is my take on that sketch. Have used the penny black stamp uplifting occasion, coloured with polychromos and sansador, mounted onto card and then BG paper. Added the ribbon and the buttons and used a computer generated sentiment to finish. Have wanted to use this stamp for a long time and finally got round to using it.

Hi

This week on Friday Sketchers is a brilliant sketch by Beatrix from Germany, Love this sketch but took me ages to produce this card.
Have used Crate papers with a sweet ebony stamp. Twisted the ribbon and added 3 different flowers held together with a brad, then used a sentiment from a cuttlebug alphabet set.
Will definitely be using this sketch again
