Sketch Saturday 52
Another great sketch this week on Sketch Saturday challenge blog. For this weeks sketch I have rotated it as it fit better this way with the image I wanted to use. I have used a Miss Anya stamp which I have been after for ages and resulted in getting it from America as all stockists in the UK were always sold out. She has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor, the papers are all from Nitwits (downloads) and the flowers are all papermania, with pearls in the centres.
Going Down
I know we all get some funny requests for cards at time, well this is one of them. Was asked to make a card for a Southampton FC supporter with the words deepest sympathy on it. So here it is, I have used a Sporting George image from Charmed Crafts and have coloured the image with polychromos and sansodor in the appropriate colours. The arrow is a stamp from papermania which is pointing down ( the way Southampton are going), and of course a badge and football. The sentiment is computer generated and the inside is signed from a Palace fan. This just so happens to fit this weeks challenge on Dare U 2 digi stamp which is One for the boys this week.

Its a brilliant sketch this week on sketch saturday this week and this is my version of the sketch and it also fits the colour create challenge for this week which is sky blue, tan and ecru. The image is a sugar nellie and has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor. The BP is basic grey and the card is from my stash. I have added buttons and flowers in tan, blue and ecru, and added some gloss to the flowers in her hair.

Friday Sketchers
Yet another great sketch this week on Friday Sketchers , this week the sketch is by Claudia Rose. This is my version of the sketch. I have used my favourite stamp it cat stamp, chocolate chip card from stampin up which has been embossed on my cuttlebug, the papers are K and CO again, and the ribbon was plain, so I stamped paw prints along it to tie in with the theme of the cat.
Dare u 2
The challenge this week on Dare u 2 Digi Stamp is Lilac and Lemon, and of course a digital image.
This week I have used an image from Pollycraft called Attitude, I have coloured her using polychromos and sansodor, and cut the image out using my nestabilites. The card is really lilac but it doesn't show very well in this light, It has suddenly come over really dark here now.
The sentiment is from a set of ticket stamps and the flowers are prima again. Added some lilac and yellow ribbon.

The sugar bowl
The latest challenge on The Sugar Bowl is a great sketch by Marlene, and the creation is to include buttons, so this is my take on the challenge. I have used the sugar nellies stamp Picking apples and coloured her using polychromos and sansodor. The papers are all K & CO. I have added some lace and of course the buttons, which are pink and green although the green doesn't show very well in the picture. The flowers are prima essesntials and have added a flower button as the centre.

Sketch and Stash
Have today found a new challenge blog - new to me that is - called sketch and stash challenge blog. Every other week there is a sketch to follow and they want us to use our newest bit of stash.
So off I go with the sketch and create this, I have used new K & CO paper that I only got yesterday and my new Nestabilities Label set one, which arrived in the post last week and I hadn't used them until today.
I have used a Dottie download as I had to make a card for a hairdresser, the image has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor. The BP are K & CO, and the blue card is papermania, added some lace down the side and will add a sentiment when I can find one that matches the card.

Colour Create
Today the colours on the colour create challenge blog are Blue and Green, with the optional extra of paper piecing . Well I managed the blue and green with the help of K & CO paper and papermania card, and Tilda has even had her dress paper pieced with the help of K & CO. The small bits of the image which needed to be coloured have been coloured using polychromos and sansodor. Added a couple of large flowers, used my nesties to create a frame for Tilda, and then used the piece of card which was left from the frame to stamp my sentiment onto. The sentiment is from Butterfly Kisses and is part of a set that I picked up at a craft show earlier this year and hadn't used.

Another great sketch again this week on Sketch Saturday challenge blog, and this is my take on the sketch. I have used this Sugar Nellie stamp and coloured her with polychromos and sansodor. The papers are all digital downloads from Summertime designs. Added some lace and Ric-Rac and then a thinking of you sentiment from papermania. Just added 3 flowers and its done.
Sorry about the poor pic but its darkish now and had to use the flash on the camera.

Dare U 2
Another great challenge this week on Dare U 2 digi stamp. The challenge is to use gingham paper and stitiching. I have used 2 different gingham papers from Papercrafts 4 you, and some card from papermania. I have had to go down the faux stitching as I can't get to the sewing machine at them moment. Once the card has been made they would like us to send it to a Pal on http://www.postpals.co.uk/ I have chosen to send my card to Amy
I have used Viki this week and coloured her with polychromos and sansodor, added some gingham ribbon and and a couple of flowers.
All I can say is I will definitely be sending more cards off to children on this site.

Cute Card Thursday
The cute card Thursday challenge blog are this week challenging us to make a card for Happy Mail, to cheer someone up or make their day and then the idea being and I quote from their site
"Hello, I read that you do card challenges and I wondered if you would consider doing a challenge with a twist.I run Post Pals, we feature seriously ill children (most have cancer or are going through transplants) and their siblings on our website www.postpals.co.uk and invite members of the public to log on from around the world and send a card to a child. The aim is to make the child smile, but we have found it also helps their self esteem and parents often open them with a child during a procedure to distract them.At the moment we are helping 120 children but they aren't getting much post.I was wondering if you would do a challenge, instead of people just scanning in their card for the theme but they actually make one for a Post Pal child and send it off.I can't begin to tell you how much receiving a card means when your ill and isolated.Thank you,"
So I have made this happy mail card using my one and only Gorjuss girl stamp and she just so happens to be holding a card, ready to be posted off. The purple card is Bazzill and the spotted paper is from my stash. Added a papermania sentiment and some lace and of course the flower.

The papers are from nitwits again (downloaded) and the sentiment is from craftwork cards and as the sentiment says its a simple thank you.

Friday Sketchers
There is a brilliant sketch this week on Friday Sketchers by Beatrix. I decided that I would make a card using no backing papers and this is the result. I have used a sarah kay image and coloured it using polychromos and sansodor. Used my curved rectangles nestabilities to cut the mat and the image , used my swiss dots embossing folder on the white card. The sentiment is from stampin up. The lace is from my stash and so are the white and black flowers.
Dare u 2
Over on the Dare u 2 digi stamp challenge blog this week there is a great sketch by Sandra D. This card is my version of the sketch. This week I have used yet again another download from Charmed cards and crafts and this one is Holly in the USA from the world tour set. I think I am now addicted to digital stamps. She has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor. The BP is from papercrafts for you, and that is what inspired me to use Holly in the first place. The card is recycled from a box, added some lace and then a feather charm from my stash. Will add a sentiment at some time but that depends on what the card will be used for.
