PB Celebrations

Having just made this silver wedding anniversary card, I realised that it fits the challenge set on Saturday by the Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog which is Celebrations.

I have used the penny black stamp 'with this ring' and coloured it using polychromos and sansodor. The image was then cut using my nesties and edged with silver. The paper is from Nitwits and then I cut the silver letters and numbers on my cuttlebug and added some pink and blue ribbon and some pearl hearts

Friday Sketchers

Haven't managed to take part in Friday Sketchers for a while, but managed to today. It is a brilliant sketch by Beatrix and this my take on the sketch. I have used a Kadoodle stamp by the Craft Barn called Off to the Beach which has been designed by the amazing Christine Dark. The image has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor, and then cut using my nesties. The papers are by K & CO. The plain card is papermania, and have used some Raffia from Hobbycraft. The sentiment is from craftwork cards, which I have chalked.

Dare U 2

This week the challenge on Dare u 2 digi stamp is a colour theme and its chocolate and orange.
I have used Holly on the Beach download and coloured her using polychromos and sansodor in brown and orange of course, the BP is from my stash so unfortunately I don't know who its by, and the same with the orange card. I made a flower using my retro flower punches and practised curling the leaves with a pencil and the sentiment is from Autumn leaves. I tried to do a bit of distressing on this card which is something I don't normally do, but will have a go again.

Sketch Saturday

Don't blog or craft for days or weeks and then I manage two in one day, not bad going especially for me. Had to make a congratulations card for a girl at work to give to a friend of hers who has just been promoted at work and as if you couldn't guess he is a fireman or rather a Station manager now.

I used this weeks sketch saturday for this card, the decoupage image is one that I have had for ages, stampin up choc chip card and the paper is from Nitwits. The images of the helments and epaulettes are from googling. The sentiment stamp is from Studio g

Back again

Have taken a back seat from craft and blogging for a while, mainly due to my mojo going off again and leaving me, but have today managed to make a card. Doesn't fit with any challenges by thought I would post it anyway.

Was asked to make a card for a groovy granny who has just passed her 70 year old driving test, so thought I would use Miss Anya as i think she is pretty groovy, and a car stamp from Butterfly kisses. The papers are all K & Co and have used my nesties to cut and emboss the mats. The flowers have been cut using the retro flower punches and have used a pink gem in the centre of them.
