Today on a spoon full of sugar challenge blog there is a great sketch by Lim, lots of layers but I thought go for it, do your best and this is what i came up with. I have used K & CO papers again, the stamp is a Sugar Nellie which has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor. The sentiment stamp is from Papermania and it Clare Curds signature range, what a bargain these stamps are. Have used various ribbons and lace and what seems to be lots of gems, Seems a lot when they are right buggers to stick down.

Sketch Saturday
Another great sketch this week over on Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog. I have used this Tilda ....Sorry don't know what she is called, and coloured her with polychromos and sansodor. All the papers are Basic grey some old, some new. The circle was cut using my nesties and the sentiment is a stamp from Joanna Sheen messy rabbits range of stamps. I have added some lace and some Prima flowers. Went for a slightly unusual colour combo for me, but I think I am happy with the overall effect. On the sketch there are lots are circles at the bottom of the card, but it does say on the challenge blog that we can used spotted or paper with circles on it instead, so i chose the easier option, instead of punching out lots of circles.

Friday Sketchers
Well its Friday so that can only mean Friday sketchers day. A great sketch this week from Claudia. I had all good intentions of combining some challenges as I haven't been able to make many cards lately, but that all went out the window when I decided to use Fishing Luca from Sugar Nellie stamp. Haven't used this stamp before and today I just had to use it. He has been coloured using the good old polychromos and sansodor again. All the papers are from Basic Grey Archaic pad - well that makes a change from K & CO. The sentiment is a stamp from Autumn leaves, and I stayed away from ribbon and flowers today and used raffia and a button instead.

Papertake Sketch
Been a bad blogger, but haven't been feeling too well and not much crafting done at all, but feeling a lot better now so thought I would start off with this weeks papertake challenge, which is a great sketch by Dawny. I have used this gorgeous Sugar nellie post box stamp and coloured using polychromos and sansodor. The papers are all K & CO (can't stop using these lately), and the ribbon is from my stash luckily its reversible ribbon so have used both side of it.

Papertake
Today on the Papertake weekly challenge blog, we have been asked to incorporate something edible on our cards. I was making this mothers day card and it has a basket of apples on it, and apples are normally edible so I thought this card met the challenge. I have used a sugar nellie image which has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor, the papers are from Papermania and the sentiment has been computer generated.

Friday Sketchers
This week on the Friday Sketchers blog there is a great sketch by Carole. I will be making more cards using this sketch, I think it is brilliant. I have used a sugar nellie stamp and coloured her with polychromos and sansodor, the papers are all from stampin up, and then added the 3 prima flowers. I will add a sentiment as I am making cards for mothers day and I think I will use this card as one of those.

Charisma Cardz
Whilst blog hopping again, I found the link to Charisma cardz challenge blog and their challenge this week is Something for the Guys, and I have just made this card and it fits the bill perfectly.
I have used La Pashe flippin men decoupage sheet, used some old english paper company paper and Papermania card for the background, hoping that it resembles the little boys room, and some navy ribbon for the dado rail. Just die cut the recipients name using quickutz skinny frankie font. I have to say I don't normally do decoupage but I just had to have these and the flipping women set as they are so funny.

Papertake Weekly
This week on Papertake weekly we have again another brilliant sketch by Dawny. I decided to make a mothers day card with this sketch as I have a few to make. The image is a sugar nellie stamp which I have coloured using polychromos and sansodor. The paper is again from the K & CO ancestry pack. Added the lace and a computer generated sentiment. I chalked the edges of the card to take away the brightness of the white card.

The Pink Elephant
This week the challenge over on The Pink Elephant blog is Pink, Green and Brown.
I had to make a card for a hairdresser, and had already coloured this Dotties world image in green brown and a hint of pink in the poor mans hair. I cut a quickuz comb using pink and brown card and then a pink sizzix swirl. Finally added a pink brown and green flower. The BP is basic grey.

Truly Scrumptious
So this week see's the 2nd truly scrumptious challenge which this time as another great sketch, but with the added twist of including home made buttons on your card. Yikes thought I, home made, have never made buttons and wouldn't have the faintest idea how to. Thought of making some in card. but they looked terrible, so went to find the shrink plastic which hasn't seen the light of day for months and months. I punched 3 circles, punched holes in these using my cropodile, chalked them brown then shrunk. I love this stuff, love watching it shrink and panicking that it won't stop crinkling up, but of course it does.
Have used a sugar nellie stamp for this card and coloured her using polychromos and sansodor, then cut the image out of my nesties and matted onto the scalloped nestie. The papers are again from the K & CO ancestry pack (seems to be a favourite at the moment). The brown card and the sentiment are all stampin up. And of course my 3 home made shrink plastic buttons.

Sketch Saturday
Another great sketch this week on the Sketch saturday challenge blog. This week the sketch is by Ria, and one that I will be using again. I have made a get well card this week ( think OH might get this as he has a mans cold). I have used an Alota stamp, not sure of the name of it though, I have coloured the image using polychromos and sansodor. All the papers are from my stash, I then added a variety of prima flowers. The sentiment is computer generated.
Blue and Brown
Am really behind on challenges this week due to work, so today I hope to catch up on a few of them. This is for the colour create challenge blog which this week has the colours of Blue and Brown. I have used Dexter the bear from Sugar Nellie which has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor. I have chalked the edges of the white card. The papers are from dovecraft, and then finally added some blue and brown flowers. The optional extra this week was to use lace and pearls, I almost used lace but seeing as I don't have any pearls I decided to forgo the optional extras.
