Friday Sketchers

On Friday a great sketch by Carole was the challenge on Friday Sketchers, having just worked 3 nights, I can now get back to crafting. This is my version of the sketch, have used BP from my stash, 5 pieces of ribbon and lace from stash, the penny black baby hammock stamp coloured with polychromos and sansodor, and then cut with nesties and layered onto navy card. Added 2 stamps as the sort of sentiment

Sketch Saturday again

I loved the Sketch Saturday sketch so much, that I have made another card this week using the sketch. I think that this sketch lends itself to mens cards, so used it for this card that I had to make for an F1 fan, whose name is ..... well I think its obvious what his name is. Have used an image from the internet, black and white chequered ribbon and cut the squares and letters on my cuttlebug, quite pleased with the outcome

The blues

Not me with the blues, but my card making is going through a blue phase at the moment, this card is to go with the sketch on the Stamp with Sarah Kay blog. The image has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor again. Have used scraps of paper from my stash and added papermania flowers. No sentiment on this card today so can be used for any occasion

Not so perfect

Well those nice ladies over on the Tilda and friends ATC challenge blog asked us to wrap this week. They want us to wrap up our ATC's with ribbons, string or anything else that springs to mind.

My new Tilda stamps arrived today and this Tilda fell out of the package, she seems to have hurt her arm and head. Poor girl has ended up sitting in the doctors waiting room with that horrendous wallpaper and plasters stuck all over the wall. See, not quite so perfect now is she.

Tilda and co

This week on Tilda and Co challenge blog its a great sketch to follow. I have used Wild asparagus backing paper, with a magnolia background cut into an oval using my nesties, and tilda in her flower jeans layered onto the background. Added green lace and some prima flowers and finally a craftwork card sentiment which has been chalked. Posted this so early as I'm off to work shortly

Perfect moment

On the Sarah Kay weekly challenge blog this week the theme is True Blue. They want to see our creations around the colour blue, so this is my perfect moment in blue. The image has been coloured using various shades of blue and a bit of pink and brown with polychromos and sansodor, the image has been cut and mounted using my nesties. Added the ticket sentiment which has been attached with a small paper clip, the navy lace and finally a stamped swirl. Hope that this is blue enough.

Mr Fix it

This is my take on this weeks sketch on Sketch Saturday challenge blog.
I have used the forever friends Mr fix it stamp (these stamps are just toooo cute), coloured the image with polychromos and sansodor, the BP is also from the forever friends Just for him pack.
I then added the 3 squares , 2 of which have the charms on and then the ribbon twill tape measure.

Spring

Well yesterday the penny black challenge blog set a challenge of seasons, pick any season you want. Mine is really a play on words as my season is Spring, and the sentiment which can hardly be read on here is A Spring in your step. Had to use this stamp though as it was one that I bought at Ally Pally yesterday, so it had to be used, also bought the rectangle nestabilities as well. Have used paper and card from my stash and the image is coloured using polychromos and sansodor.

Stamp with Sarah Kay

After a short camping break, I am now back and trying to catch up on challenges. The first challenge I have gone for is the Stamp with Sarah Kay challenge blog. This week it is a brilliant Sketch from Betty. I have used the with a little help from Margot stamp, coloured with Polychromos and Sansodor. Have cut and layered this using my nesties. The paper is from the English paper co. Have added lace across the centre of the card and for the scalloped edge at the bottom of the card. And I would like to thank Sandra from the Design team for giving me the inspiration to use these papers and this colour combination.

Friday Sketchers

This week is another great sketch on friday sketchers. Kristine has done well with her first sketch for the site. I went for a boys card again, always have problems with boys cards so trying to get a few made. Have used Edwin and coloured him with polychromos. Used quickutz dies for the TV and the game pad. The BP is wild asaparagus again and the mats are just brown scraps from my stash.

Sketch Saturday

Right this is a first for me, Sketch Saturday challenge no 16 (why had I not seen the other 15). A brilliant sketch and one that I will be using again, but may have to go back and do the others that I have missed. I have used my faithful Sarah Kay stamps and coloured with polychromos and sansodor again. Distressed the edge using milled lavender distress ink, and then just layered this as per the sketch onto the Crate paper that was still on my desk (have now filed it away).
The arrow is a papermania stamp from a set of clear stamps, which I stamped onto patterned paper and cut out, may add a sentiment later but that depends on what the card will be used for .

No Color sense

This week on Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge blog, the challenge is Pink, blue, green. So my Tilda wasn't thinking clearly this morning and has just thrown her clothes on and this is the result. Not much colour sense at all.

Just because

Over on Papertake weekly challenge blog is another brilliant sketch by Katharina. I decided to do another mans card and used this VW camper van stamp by inkadinkadoo. Have used Crate papers again for the 2nd time today as they were still on my desk. Added the ribbon and the sentiment is from a small set of clear stamps

Sarah Kay weekly Challenge

This week on Sarah Kay weekly challenge is the theme of Trio of papers. The idea is to use 3 designer papers, no mire no less. All the paper I have used is from Crate. Haved coloured the sarah Kay image with polychromos and sansodor, edged with milled lavender distress ink, mounted this onto the redish crate paper and used the stampin up punch on the edge. this was then layered onto the other 2 crate papers. Card finished with the flowers and ribbon, the buttons and finally the sentiment stamped onto the same background paper.

Chocolate !!!!!

Well what a challenge we have been set this week by the team at Tilda and Co challenge blog.

Challenged to make a card with chocolate as the theme and to use brown, pink and white. I had used this tilda with her basket, which is conviently empty, more paper from my stash which just happened to be the right colours. Added the sentiment which was done on the PC, the flowers, ribbons and charm from my stash as well. Only thing I didn't have was the chocolates to put on the card

Enjoy

Today the Penny black Saturday Challenge team, challenged us to make a mans card, but NO blue. I hope that i can be forgiven for having blue sea, but it didn't look right in red. I ave used the Penny Black Fishing! stamp, coloured with polychromos and sansodor. Have used Wild asparagus card for the backing, cuttlebuged another piece of card with swiss dots, and added ribbon to it. 3 buttons and a cuttelbug sentiment complete the card

Wet nosed friend

This week on Cute Card Thursday is the challenge of Cats and Dogs. I have gone for the dog option mainly because I have 2 dogs at home. Struggled to find a cute dog image to use so resulted to using these penny black stickeroos, which I got from a craft fair for half price and had them for some time, just never got round to using them. The paper is from the English Paper co, and just added the pawprint ribbon and a sentiment if that is what you can call it from Paper Artsy

A girl guide and camping

Today's card is not one for a challange, which certainly makes a change for me. I had been asked to make a card for a girl guide who loves camping, so hence the camping sticker and the girl guide badge. I have used one of my many tilda stamps, coloured with polychromos and sansodor, have got her sitting on a craftword cards embossed frame which i have lightly chalked over. The background paper is from the English paper co.

Stamp with Sarah Kay

This week its another brilliant sketch on Stamp with Sarah Kay challenge blog. This is my intrepretation of the sketch, the papers are from the Laura Ashley range, used bazill blue for the tabs and the sentiment and also the nestability scalloped circle.
The image has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor

Tilda and Friends ATC

This week the challenge on Tilda and Friends ATC blog is New Beginnings. I decided to use the Squaw stamp from Kadoodle stamps from the craft barn. I think these stamps are great and this one fitted the bill nicely. The reason for the baby is one nephew of mine has recently become a dad, and another nephew and his wife are expecting their first baby.
