Just about in time I think for this weeks Penny Black Saturday Challenge which has a theme this week of Friendship. I have spent a lot of the week thinking that I didn't have any suitable Penny Black stamps for this theme until I found this one in the bottom of a storage unit that I keep some of my wooden stamps in and I had totally forgotten about it. It is called Cool Friends so I think it meets the challenge ok.
The image has been coloured using promarkers, the papers are all from my stash, the card is also from stash and the Giggle stamp is one that I've had for ages and never used before. Just added a couple of lengths of bakers twine to go behind the image.
This also meets the requirement for Oldie but a goodie whose theme is one for the boys and seeing as most of the card has been made using old stash it fits in quite well

Less is More 4
My 4th entry into the 1000 challenge set over on the Less is more challenge blog.
This time I have used an old stamp by island stamps called Peek a Boo. It has been stamped in brown versafine, edges torn, mounted onto some brown card also torn with the addition of this
string type material, no sentiment but I could always add one later.
Thank you for looking yet again

Hello!
Me again, with my 3rd card for the Less is more challenge this week, will they make 1000?
The hardest thing I find with making less is more cards is what image to use, some just don't work with the minimalistic look, and others do. I searched through my mound of unmounted stamps last night and found this stamp, it is part of a Joanna Sheen sheet full of cats (I got the dog one as well so maybe some dog cards will appear later).
I coloured the image with promarkers and then just added a Studio G sentiment which has never been inked before.
And its another one layer card!!!!

One Layer Christmas
I just love this image which I have had for at least a year now but never inked. It is called No peeking now and its by Little Claire. I have coloured the image with promarkers, and then just added a sentiment which came free with a magazine and stamped that in red.
Very simple card but I just love it.
I would like to enter this into
Less is more which is anything goes this week but trying to get 1000 entries so off to do some more to assist them and
Secret crafter Saturday challenge whose challenge this week is one layer.

Bathing Beauty
I stamped this image from whipper snapper a few days ago with all intentions of making a card with her and have only just got round to making one. I have coloured the image with promarkers and the rest of the ingredients are from my stash with a sentiment from craftwork cards and 3 adhesive gems from hobbycraft. I'm determined to use paper and card from my stash for the foreseeable future as I have so much of it, I can't really justify buying any new bits for now.
I would like to enter this card into Crafty Catz weekly challenge which this week is a brilliant sketch by Aunty Sue.

Black and Purple
When I saw what the challenge was on Cupcake craft challenges today, I knew that I had to play along, how can you resist when the challenge is Black and Purple, they don't want any other colours apart from skin tone and hair. I had to use this Kenny K download Troublemaker because I thought she would look great in purple and black. I coloured the image with promarkers layered this onto some purple card. The BP is from papertry and I hope I can be excused the small dots on it. I coloured some flowers and craftwork candi with promarkers and then cut a swirl and leaves in the purple card.

Ok, so I don't know where I've been hiding these past months, but I have only just discovered Mo Manning digital images and I want them all, I'm getting there, I've got 2 now.
I have used Spit happens for this card, coloured the image with promarkers, cut a lace doily with my new die from Cheery Lyn designs and this one is French Pastry. The papers are nitwits and a free set that came with Homemade magazine, added some ribbon and craftwork candi coloured with promarkers and then the sentiment.
I would like to enter this into

Hit the road Jack
Todays card is made to go with a couple of challenges and they are
Cards for men who want anything but square and
My partner in crafting crime whose theme is Planes, trains and Automobiles.
I have used a new digi stamp from Just inklined for this brilliant beetle image and a Kenny K download Teen Idol. Both images have been coloured with promarkers. The BP is from a messy rabbit pad by Joanna Sheen and I have hardly used it before despite having it for ages. Just added the words and the card was done.

Baby Love
Thought I would play along with Pollycraft Monday challenge blog this week and their theme is Baby Love. I have used a Mo Manning digital image and have coloured this with promarkers. Th BP is a freebie from a magazine, the blue card is from my stash and just embossed some white card with the Swiss Dots embossing folder , punched the edge of the blue card with a Martha Stewart punch. The baby boy stamps are from impression obsession.
This card also fits with Charisma Cardz challenge this week and Secret crafter both of whose theme is inspired by a song, and I immediately thought of "When a Child is born" as a friend at work has just become a Nanny for the 1st time.

Seeing Double
Todays card is to go with the brilliant Less is more challenge blog whose theme this week is Seeing double and its a one layer card week. I went to my craft room to see what stamps I had that I could try to stamp double and after a few minutes I just happened to notice this stamp sitting on my desk and I thought Perfect.
I won this stamp a few weeks ago on the Penny black saturday challenge blog and this is its first inking.
I have stamped the image and then coloured it using promarkers, the sentiment is part of a sentiment stamp, its a clear stamp and I've got absolutely no idea where I got it from.

Tennis anyone?
I have been asked to make a card for an 80 year old who loves watching tennis. This had me a bit stumped until I saw this Tilda playing tennis stamp and into the basket it went. Isn't she just adorable. I have coloured the image using promarkers layered onto pink core-ordination card and this then layered onto some Tim Holtz card. The lace was white, but I dyed it in tea, added some flowers but not sure what make they are and then punched some leaves in green card. Added a craftwork card sentiment to finish. I would like to enter this into

Just in time
Just about made it in time for this weeks challenge on Less is more, and the theme this week was a recipe to use any 3 of their 29 challenges and combine them onto one card, so I have gone for
Week 7 - Masculine
Week 19 - In the frame
Week 23 - Something with legs.
It would also fit into another couple but these were the 3 that I picked. Work has just got in the way this week so its just about made it in time for this weeks deadline. I have used the stamp frame stamp and the African safari stamp for this card from Judikins. I stamped the frame first and then the stamp frame around it, masked of the stamp frame with post it notes and used distress ink to colour the image. Just loving the challenge that this challenge blog set me.
On another note I have been chosen to be on the design team for a new challenge blog that starts on Sunday called crafting when we can, which will run challenges every other week, so please come along and join us on Sunday for the first challenge.
